Student Policies & Procedures

Attendance, classroom conduct, academic integrity, course completion, andstudent records.

Students must:

  • Complete the registration process.
  • Provide accurate contact information.
  • Meet any course-specific eligibility requirements.
  • Submit applicable tuition and fees prior to course access unless otherwise approved.
  • SREA reserves the right to deny enrollment or remove students who fail to comply with school policies.

Students are expected to:

  • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect.
  • Participate professionally in classroom discussions.
  • Refrain from disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behavior.
  • Follow all classroom and virtual learning guidelines.
  • SREA reserves the right to remove any student whose conduct interferes with the learning environment.

In-Person Courses
Students are required to attend all required instructional hours to receive course completion credit.

Virtual Courses
Students must:

  • Attend live sessions as required.
  • Camera on- Visible Remain logged in and actively participate.
  • Follow all attendance verification procedures.
  • Failure to meet attendance requirements may result in loss of course credit.

Students must satisfy all course requirements, including:

  • Required instructional hours.
  • Assignments and activities (if applicable).
  • End-of-course examinations or assessments.
  • Certificates of completion will be issued only after all requirements have been met.

Students are expected to complete all coursework honestly.
The following are prohibited:

  • Cheating.
  • Misrepresentation of attendance.
  • Sharing exam answers.
  • Unauthorized use of course materials.
  • Violations may result in dismissal without refund.

SREA maintains student records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Students may request copies of eligible records by contacting the academy.

Refund Policy

Refund eligibility, request process, timelines, and non-refundable fees.

Students who cancel enrollment prior to the first scheduled class session may be eligible for a refund, less any applicable administrative or registration fees.

Once a course has begun, refunds may be limited or unavailable based on: Course type, Materials provided, Time attended, Access to online content

Registration fees for workshops, seminars, conferences, and special events may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Transfers may be permitted at SREA’s discretion.

All refund requests must:

  • Be submitted in writing.
  • Include the student’s name and course information.

Approved refunds will typically be processed within 14โ€“30 business days.

The following may be non-refundable:

  • Registration fees
  • Administrative fees
  • Digital course materials
  • Downloadable resources
  • Third-party fees

Terms & Conditions

Enrollment agreement, tuition & fees, course changes, intellectual property, and liability information.

By registering for any SREA course, event, workshop, seminar, orcprogram, students agree to these Terms & Conditions.

SREA provides educational services and training.
Enrollment does not guarantee:

  • Licensure
  • Employment
  • Income
  • Placement with a brokerage
  • Real estate transaction success
  • Individual results vary

SREA reserves the right to:

  • Modify schedules.
  • Change instructors.
  • Reschedule classes.
  • Cancel classes due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Reasonable notice will be provided whenever possible.

All course materials, presentations, recordings, handouts, and educational content remain the property of SREA.
Students may not:

  • Reproduce
  • Record
  • Sell
  • Share
  • Distribute
  • academy materials without written permission

SREA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to participation in courses, events, or educational programs.

Our courses are designed for aspiring real estate agents, newly licensed sales associates, experienced Realtors seeking continuing education, and professionals looking to expand their knowledge through specialized training.

Attendance requirements are governed by Florida regulations. If you miss a class, contact our office as soon as possible to discuss available options.

Many successful agents do not pass on their first attempt. You can retake the state exam according to DBPR guidelines, and SREA offers exam preparation resources to help you build confidence and improve your chances of success.

Yes. Upon successfully completing the course and passing the required end-of-course exam, you will receive your official course completion certificate.

In addition to your course tuition and state exam fees, new agents should plan for expenses such as license application fees, fingerprinting, MLS and association dues, brokerage fees, marketing, and continuing education.
